Ski in/Ski Out Base of Eagle Bahn Gondola, 2 BDR

We loved it!

The place was a great value, location was perfect for us, and the staff at the front desk was super helpful and friendly. Parking/check-in process sounded a little complicated, but it was actually really simple. There was a fairly large closet area for skis/boots/etc. and the beds were comfortable.There were a couple small issues I need to mention. First, this is a garden level unit, of sorts. It looks like there is a balcony, but it's really a 6' square hole in the ground (maybe 10' deep) that feels like the pit they threw people into back in the King Arthur days. Note that this hole is the ONLY source of natural light in the unit and the only potential way out if there was a fire near the normal door. You'd have to stack furniture to climb out. One bedroom had windows looking into the pit, but the other had no windows at all.Also, there was a dead mouse in the pit.The shower is VERY small, almost like a shower in an RV. There was a nice community shower in the men's and women's changing rooms down 1 level by the pool. I used it once because we had 4 people getting ready at the same time for a wedding, and it worked out well. I wish that level had stair access but was elevator only.The girls complained that the lighting in the bathroom was not good for makeup. One used the pool changing room that was clean and nicely lit.Other than that, the place was great and clean, and served our needs perfectly.
